There are no brakes…

…on the rape train. From the NCAA’s statement regarding Penn State’s borderline death penalty issued today:

According to the NCAA conclusions and sanctions, the Freeh Report “presents an unprecedented failure of institutional integrity leading to a culture in which a football program was held in higher esteem than the values of the institution, the values of the NCAA, the values of higher education, and most disturbingly the values of human decency.”

The school is forfeiting 111 wins, $60 million, a large chunk of scholarships, and the last shred of dignity it had. Current and committed players can transfer ASAP without penalty, and the NCAA is looking at allowing other schools to accept them without counting against their scholarship limit. In other words, JoePa’s no longer the winningest coach of all time, current players aren’t punished, and the child-rape enthusiasts of Happy Valley can suck on it – never again will they compete at a high level in football, and for generations they will be known as the American definition of the notion that for evil to flourish, good men need only do nothing.

Fuck ‘em.
